A 300,000 gsf new 12 story office building over a four level underground parking partially over the subway. Eight story historic existing exterior walls were incorporated in the new building. The exterior walls were temporarily braced by exterior vertical trusses 80' high supported by drilled caissons. The old existing building floors were demolished and new floors were constructed. The demolished building housed the Army Navy Club which was dismantled and rebuilt in the new building. TCE also provided inspection and quality control services of the construction.
