The Jewish Community Center’s original headquarters facility was built in 1930. After occupying the building for over 30 years, the JCC relocated to the suburbs, only to return after another 30 years. In 1990, major renovations, restoration, and expansion of the existing historical structure were provided including the addition of a new theater replacing the ballroom, grand main staircase, gallery, food service facilities, gym, offices and classrooms; a total of 58,000 gsf.
