The IMF Headquarters is a 130' high, 650,000 gsf 12-story office building over 180,000 gsf three level below grade parking garage with parking for 400 vehicles. There is an underground pedestrian connection to the building which is located across the street. The ground floor is open to the public and includes an 1,100 seat meeting facility and two-story Founding Farmers' restaurant at 20th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, retail, exhibition gallery, and large atrium with skylight. The building was designed to meet blast and progressive collapse requirements, and perimter security. TCE provided inspection and quality control services during the construction. In addition to the structural design, services included design of the waterproofing system for the building.
