MATTHEW NACHMAN, P.E., ASSOCIATE
Matt graduated at the top of his class from NC State and has since earned his Professional Engineer license. Upon graduation, Matt joined TCE and is in the Forensic, Repair and Restoration Division involved in designing repairs and restoration for major office buildings, high-rise residential, government, hotel, industrial, commercial, parking garage, and educational buildings. Matt has also been involved in the structural analysis and design, investigation and evaluation, and strengthening and retrofit of existing structures. His efforts and commitment to excellence recently earned Matt the distinction of Associate.
He has designed repairs, restorations, and renovations for all types of building envelopes including masonry facades, precast concrete and natural stone facades, waterproofing, expansion joints repair, balcony and exterior concrete repairs, and corrosion induced concrete damage repairs.
Matt serves as the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Baltimore-Washington Chapter of the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and is a member of the International Concrete Repair Institute National Strengthening and Stabilization Committee and the Masonry Committee. Matthew was a contributing author for the ICRI Strengthening Guideline and helped compile an ICRI special publication on Strengthening and Stabilization of Concrete and Masonry Structures. He also was a contributing author for the ICRI Masonry Evaluation Guideline.
