TCE’s design division is headed by Zivan Cohen, President and co-Founder of the firm over 45 years ago. Assisting Zivan are company principals and professional engineers Ali Tahbaz, Sanjay Khanna, Varinder Abrol, and Yehuda Nordman, each of whom have forged lasting relationships with some of the nation's Top 500 architects and developers.

Our networked in-house computer facility enables us to quickly and efficiently analyze any type of structure. We utilize the latest concepts and techniques in engineering sciences, such as computerized three-dimensional analysis, ultimate strength design in reinforced concrete, pre-stressing and post-tensioning of concrete, and LRFD design in steel. Both AutoCAD and Microstation are used for drafting which are efficiently tied into our structural analysis software. These systems provide us the capability to analyze and price different structural solutions for review with the project team, along with alternates which are priced in the real market.

The final goal of the structural engineer is to design structures to be safe, economical, and efficient. Hence, with this basic understanding as a firm foundation, familiarity with current design procedures, and skills in employing them, constitutes the essence of a successful design project. We listen to and address each client's concerns with as much time and diligence necessary to design a facility that is not only practical but also may become a landmark within the surrounding environment.
