Structural design for 12 floors above ground and four parking levels below ground. The building has a 40' x 90' atrium with a skylight. The building incorporates the historical Greyhound Bus Terminal. This required use of 70' long post-tensioned transfer girders to transfer the column loads over the terminal. The foundations are deep caissons. The building is close to the metro tunnel which required special structural analysis so that the tunnel is not overloaded. The caissons adjacent to the tunnel were drilled with bentonite slurry.

Renovations and addition to an existing historical building in Georgetown, Washington, DC. TCE designed for removal and replacement of the rear section of the building with new three-story concrete and steel structure, determined existing framing, and strengthened existing framing for residential loading.

This residential, commercial and parking complex in the heart of Georgetown next to the C & O Canal includes an 800 car underground garage, total area 850,000 gsf. The design also included a new five-story apartment building inside the existing building on Grace Street.
HAMILTON HOTEL RENOVATION, Washington, DC
Renovation of an existing 150,000 gsf office building and conversion into a Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza Hotel. The new hotel will contain an expanded sub-basement, basement, lobby level, floors two through 11 and two new floors as well as a penthouse on the roof containing a mechanical and elevator equipment room.
